Hi Good Morning and welcome to another day.
Do something for me before you read on, TAKE A VERY DEEP BREATH, Release and then again, if you are still with me then guess what, you are still alive.
You are a survivor of another Recession sodden day.
My Dad used to say no matter how bad it gets there is always somebody worse off, just look at the sad situation with regards to Jade, who would have thought a year ago that all the Sunday papers would be covering her imminent demise.
Be Happy that you are not in her dire situation.
I hope that you enjoyed my Daughters entry earlier on my Blog, she is only 10 I didn't have the heart to check her spelling, she only spotted afterwards that the date was wrong, life is a learning curve, we have all been there.
I didn't realise that one of the people I was dealing with had left a comment after a Blog that I wrote on the 9th December, he didn't buy his used car from me in the end but I assisted him along the way.
I firmly believe that we should do somebody a bit of good as long as it is without detriment to ourselves or connections.
What follows is a cut and paste version of my Blog and his Comments, I would like to Thank Matt for his kind words and hope that the used car that he now have is serving him well.

Buying a used car from me or somebody else
Hello again and welcome to another edition of acar2go.I had a mediocre weekend of car sales, with only two of my four appointments turning up, now I know that it was Tayters on Saturday but if your not going to turn up, the courtesy of a phone call would be polite!
This comment is only directed at the Coventry man, Guess I won't be sending one of my cars to Coventry after all, which is good because since the plants died it's been nice having them around for the company.
Imagine if you made an appointment with me and I didn't turn up! or the car that you made an appointment to see was dirty because I couldn't be bothered to clean it!I was always taught that we are, "Ladies and Gentlemen Serving Ladies and Gentlemen". And by doing to him as in similar cases you would wish he would do to you, or in modern English, treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.
Remember you Reap what you Sow!I would like to Thank Matt and Steve for turning up and also to Ian for the polite text message and for turning up today with his wife Laura and Children, I look forward to the phone call tomorrow.
Matt, I know that we didn't have a deal because of the lack of Isofix but it was nice to have met you anyway, I hope that you are happy with the way in which I still tried to help you with some helpful advice and information, Good luck with your Honda.
Here we are in the depths of the Season of Goodwill, I watched Miracle on 34th Street with my kids at the weekend, when I heard Chris Kringle giving out details of other stores that stocked toys that they didn't have it tickled me.
I always watch other dealers stock and am constantly giving out phone numbers and addresses for other used cars that I don't have or have already sold, remember you reap what you sow, I believe in Karma.
Just a brief note about used car warranties, when you go into a Dealership you expect them to have your leg up but not your pants down too; we used to charge £365 for a one year used car Warranty and for two years it was £499, now we're all entitled to make a living but let's not take the P*"s.
We were told to say, "at just £365 it works out at a Pound a day for Total Peace of Mind".
I charge £199 for a Comprehensive one Year RAC used car Warranty and just another £100 for the second year, Now That's Value!
My Warranty also covers Blown Head Gaskets and Catalytic Convertors, they didn't cover those items within the aforementioned Dealership Warranty!
A bit of High Horse, a bit of philosophy, a bit of general information and a bit of Whistle Blowing, now that's entertainment.
Don't forget to look in again soon.
Bye for now.

Thanks for the mention Mark - thought it appropriate I just give my take on acar2go.
In short, I can't help thinking if there were lots of acar2go's all round the country, the nation's used car dealers might have an infinitely better reputation!
I normally feel somewhere, somehow I'm being fleeced when I buy a car - and indeed I have been in the past. But I actually don't think Mark's got it in him - he just wouldn't do it!
I mean, I didn't even buy a car from him, not because of anything he did, just because I found the EXACT model, colour etc I was after elsewhere.
And even knowing that Mark actually sent me a free HPI check on a car he hadn't even sold - just out of goodwill!
So my advice is, if you don't want to have that horrible nagging feeling you might be about to be sold a wrong 'un or stitched up in anyway whatsoever - get yourselves over to Aylesbury.
Peace of mind motoring - it's how everyone should be selling. Here's to acar2go opening up in your town one day!
Now there's an idea ...

used car work experience by Maisy Duncan
Hi, my name is Maisy Duncan, I am Mark Duncans daughter and I am very proud of him. My dad is a nice man with good buisness skills and nice cars to sell! I am off of school today(Tuesday 25 February) because my school has a gas leak. As far as I know everyone that has bought a car from my dad is happy with the car they bought! My dads site(http://www.acar2go.co.uk/) is a GREAT website for finding the car you need, so please visit the site.
My dad has sold alot of cars lately so has not got many cars left, but call him and ask for the car you want and he will try his best to find it for you!!
Thank you for taking the time to read this entry for my dads site.

used car disaster experience.
A lady came in to see me today with a terrible story of woe, I warn people all the time about buying from Auctions, some people never learn!
She had bought a Vauxhall Corsa for her Daughter, rather should I say her and the Husband did; he told her that they would save a lot of money by buying a used car at Auction, Problem there is he's a Builder.
Now if I wanted an extension built or a brick wall erected, maybe a patio or conservatory built then would I attempt it myself, No! I would call a Builder.
So why when a "Builder" wants a used car does he then suddenly become the expert on the Motor Trade?
Otherwise known as the Barrack room lawyer or the Pub expert, they should come to somebody like me, I'm in the Motor Trade and know what I'm about.
Not only that but we also offer a Warranty, will service, MOT and valet the car and will sort out any little niggles that come up soon after the sale, we also offer you a test drive.
So rather than accepting these small graces, he had a quick look at the outside and then bid more than he wanted to and bought an Enid Blyton, that is Motor Trade slang for "There's a story to it"
Now let me tell you a Story, he didn't realise that "Mileage not Warranted" which was what was written on the Auction vehicle description form stuck to the window, meant that the car mileage cannot be relied upon to be correct and may have been clocked.
After he paid what he bid oh, and also the Auction Commission fee and indemnity fee, @ £250-300 more than he thought he had agreed to pay, he was given the Documents and a ticket to go and get his car, it took him nearly two hours to dig it out, it was buried amongst another 20 or so cars.
After they got home, a very bumpy ride as one of the wheel bearings was gone, also the brakes were shrieking as they were metal to metal, they found upon checking their documents that it had 9 previous owners, (Not bad for under 4 years old) and had no Service History, worse still the MOT had just 6 weeks to run.
The next day reality set in and they took it to a garage for a check up and MOT, what a pile of Dog Poo, the car was condemned big time!
It Failed the MOT, the emmissions were all over the place, it needed a Catalytic Converter, a Wheel bearing, new brake discs and pads, a spare wheel because it was missing as were the Jack and Wheel brace, the CD player wasn't even wired in and when it was wired up guess what it didn't work, it also had a blown head gasket and a leaking radiator, the thermostat didn't work, the sunvisors were missing, one of the doors didn't work on the central locking and the drivers electric window only went halfway down very noisily, needing a new window motor!
When they lifted the boot carpet, here comes the worst bit, it had been welded and badly repaired, the colour match was different on about 5 seperate panels, how could this expert Builder not spot that!
I offered to take the car as a part exchange but my bid was a great deal less than they had paid, I can only sell it at another Auction as I wouldn't trade it on to any of my colleagues as that would be very wrong, "WE" don't do that to each other!
Caveat Emptor, Buyer Beware, Come to me and you will have a comeback, go there and you are on your own, really, really on your own..
I have heard similar stories many, many times in my 20 plus years in the Motor Trade, Please, Please, Please do not become a victim of the Auctions, whatever you do for a living, Tinker, Tailor, Builder, Sailor, you are not the Expert in our Field, WE ARE!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for looking in again, I just had to tell you this, Beware, Beware, Beware!!!

monster used car sales weekend
What a brilliant used car sales weekend I have just had.
Thank you to the Darren from Gatwick, hope that your wife loved the Micra when you got it home.
Thank you to Ross and Sue from Reading, I hope that the car is perfect for you and your young Family, don't forget when your younger Brother needs a used car that I pay £100 referral commission.
Thank you to Francesco from Oxford, hope that your journey back in the snow was uneventful.
Finally Thank you to Rosemary and Arthur Crutch, I received a very nice e-mail from your Daughter this morning, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you both, I am so glad that you are so Happy with the Corsa
It was so busy that I managed to have one coffee all day and no food, everybody made appointments and as a result of that everything ran smoothly.
Not all of my used cars are in one place which is why it is important to call me first as I have to ensure that the car you are interested in is on site for when you arrive.
I had a bit of a rant about a week or so ago on my used car blog page because people were turning up without calling, it just makes me look bad and I'm not.
The used car sales market has shown a major upturn of late, I am now desperately trying to fill the spaces that I have available as I have pretty much sold out, I will only buy top quality used cars to offer so it is a hard job that I have ahead of me as there are a lot of Nasty cars out there.
The housing market is on the way up, apparently our houses are now worth 1.5 % More than they were last month, this is the start of the rise of prices across the board, cars are next as they are the second largest purchase that we all make in our lives.
I have warned you that prices were on the way up, do not delay as your pound will buy you more used car now than it will in three months time, get on board or you will be buying an older higher mileage car for the same price in days to come.
That's all I have time for today, Sorry.
Thanks for looking in again.

predicted rate cut happens, price of used cars now!
I predicted a rate cut of 0.4-0.75%, in the end we got 0.5%, a pretty educated guess, that and my uncle happens to be on the Bank of England pay roll, (Only Joking) Sorry Unc didn't mean to drop you in it.
So how much will your next used car be going up to? Do you know that dealers can put their prices up as well as down and loads of them are doing that right now, so what's the reason for this change in tactic?
Well since the market was so quiet there was loads of available stock, infact a surplus, however now there is a shortfall as you Savvy customers come flooding back to the market.
Forget the SAD Syndrome, get out there and cheer yourself up, retail therapy big style, never mind the handbag or shoes, treat yourself to a nice used car, I haven't put my prices up I still offer the same brilliant value quality used cars as before.
But get in sooner rather than later as the wholesale prices that we have to pay are on the way up, this can only mean that the price to you will be higher, If you want to catch the best price which comes in between the lowest and the highest then ACT NOW, failure to do so will make your pocket/purse much lighter!
I have prophesised again, as with the rate cut this prophesy will also come true, used car prices are on the way up, if you intend to act in 2-3-4 months time then keep todays motoring adverts and compare them to the ones that are newly published when you are ready, you will kick yourself, O.K. I know that anatomically that is not possible, so instead kick the person, Husband/Wife that cost you all that extra money and while your doing just that remember, " I told you so".
Thanks for looking in again.

Which Magazine slates used car dealers.
What follows is an edited version of the latest "Which" report on car dealers, I must say that the content of the article comes as no suprise to me, when I worked at Dealerships we all had our chains yanked by the powers above.
The lady's and Gentlemen that you meet in the dealerships are just the puppets, the people sitting in the Ivory Towers are their puppeteers, pulling their strings on a daily, sometimes hourly basis.
I often thought about writing an Expose on what I had experienced during my "time on the Floor", in the end I thought that I actually quite like my legs and so just went out and started my own reputable and credible used car sales business.
I do business in just the right way, I believe in Karma, what goes around comes around, treat others as in similar cases you wish they would treat you and you won't go far wrong in life.
I am the most honest used car salesman that you will ever meet, I believe totally in full disclosure, I will always be on the level with anybody that comes to see me about buying a used car, I will never look to hoodwink you only ever offering a fair and square deal, my fidelity also is beyond question, I do hate it when people clearly and deliberately try to deceive me and I can tell..
Enjoy the article............
Car dealers still have a bad reputation which is certainly justified according to Which magazine!
The findings which came as no suprise and are now revealed in the consumer body’s latest edition, where it lays into car dealers with all guns blazing.
‘Car dealers’ reputation for sharp practices could be justified,’ says Which?.
This followed undercover investigations that discovered loads of bad examples.
12 out of 26 dealers made ‘dubious or vague claims,’ for example. 4 of these could have broken new consumer protection regulations.
Which? even suspected some dealers of using ‘bait and switch’ tactics. This is where a car is advertised despite car dealers knowing they have none in their stock. The aim is to upsell an alternative.
In one Mystery shop experience the sales person went off into an office then comes back out stating that the advertised car is sold! You then get the full blown sales pitch on another car.
‘The ghost of Arthur Daley is still very much alive and kicking, unfortunately. Dealers have had ample time to get used to the new rules, but too many still let car buyers down.
‘If dealers want to win the confidence of their consumers, especially in these tough times, they need to change their habitual ways and play by the rules.’
Thanks for looking in again.

Rate cut Thu 5th Feb used car prices on the way up!
Tomorrow, Thursday the 5th February will see another rate cut, I estimate that it will be in the region of 0.4 to 0.75%.
The situation in the Country is on the way up, I have already sold a third of the amount of used cars that I sold in the whole of January!
It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to hear customer feedback, one customer told me that he looked at a 54 plate old shape Zafira with 55,000 miles that was nearly £1,000 cheaper than my 55 plate new shape Zafira with 35,000 miles, the dealership margin comparison would have been nearer to £2,000 different.
He also told me that the car was very rough and that the guy wouldn't negotiate on price; I don't haggle either but my used cars are all very well presented and worth the money!
I also had a phone call from a lady in Reigate in Surrey, she asked me, what was wrong with the used car that she was enquiring upon, when I replied absolutely nothing she then said, "Well why is it so cheap" I Love it when people say that, she was just being a bit cautious with her money, she made an appointment to come in last weekend to see the car, problem is I sold it on Thursday.
Although people do come in at weekends, understandably because that is when all interested parties can be present, other people also come in on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and buy cars, if they didn't then all Dealerships in the Country would close until the wekend.
There is a saying in the Motor Trade that is often quoted to Procrastinating Customers, "The car that you saw Today and are thinking about Buying Tomorrow, Somebody else saw Yesterday and will buy it today" However the Customer that sees Today and Buys Today will beat both of the aforementioned.
I am an eternal Optimist, I know that the Country will Bounce back, when we ascend into that time, the price of everything will go up including big ticket purchases, cars, white goods, etc, etc.
Come on there has never been a better time to buy a used car, mine are priced to sell everytime, I have not sold a car yet to a customer that hasn't been very Happy, come in and see my photo wall, full of smiling faces, Happy people and for a very good reason, they saved lots of their hard earned cash.
I already have 3 appointments for Saturday, one for Sunday, one for Friday and one for Thursday, come on give me a call, I can stilll fit you in, my diary is at the ready!
Thanks again for looking in.

Frenetic used car sales activity wekend
Anybody would think that I had a sale on at the weekend as I was inundated with people, I would appreciate it if people could make an appointment, just a quick phone call to organise a time would be great.
I have a lovely unit on a Farm and am not visible from the road, this is great because I don't get afflicted by the normal crowd of time wasting tyre kickers, most people that come to see me check over the phone that the car is available before they travel.
I do keep my website up to date on a daily basis, but only ammend it in the evening so please check before coming in to see me, I had somebody in from Rugby to see a Zafira, not a short distance, they thought because it was on my website that it was still available!
I had three appointments on that one car alone, the second person to see the vehicle bought it, the first went away to get an insurance quote and missed out, the third one got a phone call from me to cancel their visit, a good job because they were coming from Ampthill near Bedford.
I have a fresh batch of stock due in today although I don't know if the delivery company will be able to get through the snow, I am working from home at the moment but will be going in soon myself.
I have no doubt what so ever that we will be getting another rate cut this Thursday, care of the good old Bank of England in their endeavours to get the Country back onto an even keel.
There have been a load of people paying cash for the cars that they have been buying from me, this indicates to me that people not only still have the money but are prepared to spend it as the interest on savings has gone through the floor.
I have had an absolutely brilliant January, the figures of used cars that I have sold have surpassed my business plan by almost double, there is no rocket science to this, I have been in the Motor Trade for over 20 years, I know the Formula for success.
I buy quality cars at the right price, I prepare them to a standard that dealers would be happy to emulate, I then sell them at a fair price, I also show respect and consideration to the people that are helping me to survive during this hard time; I won't be getting rich any time soon but I enjoy working for myself, the bills are all getting paid, the Bank Manager is happy and most importantly my Customers are very Happy with the deal that they have had.
Please don't forget if you are one of my existing customers reading this, I will pay you £100 or pay for your next service if you refer anybody to me that buys a car.
Please check my website for used cars that I currently have available.
Thanks for looking in again.
Regards.

Regards.
